HARVEST FEST - THIS THURSDAY!

Volunteers Needed for this Thursday, Oct. 17, 5 to 7 pm at the School

Only two more days until the Palmerston Harvest Festival – Thursday, October 17, 5:00-7:00 pm

Join us for our Fourth Annual Harvest Festival as the Palmerston School Community gathers together to celebrate the season, and raise money for environmental education initiatives and our arts and S.T.E.M. classroom programming.

In order to ensure a successful event we still need loads of volunteers! Signing up for an hour shift is a huge help!

Parent volunteer helpers are what make for a successful event and shorter lines!

Most Urgent Volunteers Needed for:

- Captains to organize and run the various stations: if you are organized and love to help people help people (for a few hours at a time).. this is your opportunity.

- Shift volunteers to serve at the stations - sign up for an hour, watch everyone have a wonderful night and get huge props from your child for how helpful you are! 

Also need more volunteers to sign up for:

- Making pots of chili - All it takes is beans, meat, and or vegetables.. if you have a crock pot it is that simple! Be sure to label your crock pot and serving spoon when you drop off!

- Making treats for the bake sale - or simply buy them and put them on a paper plate (no one will know!)

- Planning and gathering supplies for crafts - it takes a special parent to be creative while doing all the things. If this is you - we all bow down and are inspired by you too!

- Plan and run the apple tasking stand! Always a huge hit with the kids of all ages!

- Embrace the season and help man the Pumpkin Patch, outdoor games and or Scarecrow making!

- Join the team  decorating the entryway and gym (Decor provided) - if you are handy with pumpkins, plaid and bails of hay this could be the decorative challenge you have been waiting for!

- Set-up and clean-up crews - Not a glamourous option, but easy, and always a laugh!
