Help us raise $15,000!

Welcome back to another school year, Palmerston Families.

The Palmerston Community thrives thanks to the collective contributions of dedicated staff, parent and community volunteers, great kids, and generous donations from families.

Last school year, School Council reinvested $39,000 back into the school in areas not funded by the Province/TDSB, including the full cost of school buses to sporting events and field trips; STEM programming, books and tools; library books; in-classroom supports and materials; sporting equipment; music and arts education; and so much more! Flip this page over to really get into the details.

We listened to you!

Parents asked for the option to make a tax-deductible donation at the start of the school year rather than receiving asks throughout the year. We love this idea and we’re going to experiment with it this year to see if we can still meet our fundraising goals overall.

Our goal is still to fund $40,000 worth of in-school programming and resources, as well as host the events our school community loves. Our goal is to raise $15,000 through donations so we can reduce other donation requests or if possible, costs.

Help us Reach our $15,000 goal! Make your gift today.

Whatever giving comfortably looks like for your household today helps build a thriving community for all our kids.

  • $10 puts a new book in the library

  • $25 replaces soccer balls for recess

  • $50 brings engagement materials in a classroom

  • $100 from 6 families covers a school bus for a full group on a field trip or sporting event

  • $250 buys a new instrument for our music programming

“I’m so grateful to work in a school with a community that offers so much support. ”

- Janice MacNeil, music teacher

Make your donation through School Cash Online* by October 1st to help us reach our goal! The amount raised by this date will directly impact our budget and need for additional fundraising throughout the year.

Don’t forget – tax receipts will be issued for all online donations. Donations can be made by individuals or businesses.
